Course Overview

Deliver Effective Information, Advice and Guidance

Develop the knowledge and skills needed to provide effective information, advice and guidance (IAG) in the workplace. Our Advice and Guidance Level 2 Certificate is ideal for working in roles where supporting clients, learners or colleagues with information and guidance is an important part of their responsibilities.

What you’ll learn

  • How to communicate effectively and build positive interactions with clients
  • The importance of professional boundaries and accurate record keeping
  • Key legislation and regulations that affect information, advice and guidance services
  • Practical ways to identify and overcome barriers that may prevent individuals from accessing support

On successful completion, you will achieve the Information, Advice or Guidance Level 2 Certificate.

There will be an introductory session which will give an overview of the accredited course to help you decide if it is right for you. This is a mandatory requirement for joining the accredited course.

Will I have to pay for courses?
The majority of our courses are free, subject to the criteria listed. For advanced level accredited courses, there is a fee-paying option available if a learner does not meet the criteria for a free course.
