How to Join a Course
Ready to start learning? Here’s how to get started with Wandsworth Lifelong Learning.
Step 1: Register Your Interest
When you find a course that interests you, the first step is to register. You’ll find the registration form either:
- On this website,
- In an email we’ve sent you,
- Or via a link in one of our social media posts.
Step 2: Speak to an Advisor
Once we receive your registration, one of our friendly advisors will get in touch. This is a chance to talk through the course, ask questions, and make sure it’s the right fit for you. If there’s something more suitable, we’ll help you find it.
Step 3: Enrol Online
After your chat, we’ll send you an online enrolment form to complete. This confirms your place on the course.
Step 4: Complete an Assessment (if required)
If you’re joining an accredited course (one that leads to a qualification), you may need to complete a short English and/or maths assessment. Most courses only require English. This helps us confirm the course is right for your current skill level.
Important: You must complete this assessment before the course starts. Without it, we won’t be able to send you your login details.
Step 5: Get Your Joining Instructions
Once everything’s done, you’ll receive:
- A link to Google Classroom for non-accredited courses, or
- A personal login for accredited courses, giving you access to your class, assignments, and resources.
If you’ve already completed an enrolment form or assessment this academic year, you won’t need to do it again.
