AEET is a training and employment support company offering proven pathways to employment via accredited courses in Employability, Customer Service, Hospitality and Construction. Their aim is to help and support disadvantaged individuals and communities overcome barriers and gain new skills, experience and qualifications which will lead to employment and a more fulfilling life.

AEET focus on training in construction, retail, hospitality and customer service ensuring that learners are work-ready and with the skills and behaviours needed by employers.

Deaf First specialises in life skills courses for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, including English, maths, ICT, hospitality, health & wellbeing courses.

Deaf First run short courses through the year for D/deaf adults aged over 19, funded by Wandsworth Lifelong Learning. Course subjects include English, Maths, Employability, Digital skills and Introduction to Hospitality. They also run a Woodworking/hand tools course, and Art and Craft to support mental wellbeing.

Courses are free and are organized in short, six-week long blocks. This means you do not have to wait too long to join one of our courses!

Classes are small with about 6 students, taught using BSL and SSE. All our tutors are experienced in their subject areas as well as in working with D/deaf learners. Some classes are taught by a D/deaf tutor.
