Course Overview

Becoming a Teaching Assistant

This accredited course is ideal for those looking to build on Level 1 learning or develop existing skills to work effectively in a school environment. If you’re considering a career in education and want to make a positive impact, this course provides the knowledge and confidence you need.

Qualification on Completion: Support Work in Schools Level 2 Award.

There will be an introductory session on the 1st of September, 09.45-11.45, which will give an overview of the accredited course, to help you decide if it is right for you. This is not a mandatory requirement for joining the accredited course.

Will I have to pay for courses?
The majority of our courses are free, subject to the criteria listed. For advanced level accredited courses, there is a fee-paying option available if a learner does not meet the criteria for a free course.
