After a short break during lockdown, Wandsworth Community Choir (WCC) is back and ready to lift everyone’s spirits.
Choir members have been practicing in the socially distanced safety of their own homes but now they are ready to shimmer and sparkle once again.
Starting on Tuesday the 19th of May WCC will be getting together for weekly rehearsals on Zoom.
The rehearsals are divided into 3 weekly sessions: soprano; alto and baritone. Each 30-minute session (sectional rehearsal) will be an opportunity for the choir to get stuck in to an exciting new repertoire and to experience the feel-good sensation that singing provides!
The choir has been an important part of the week for its members, who have welcomed its return. The response has been overwhelming at the great news that WCC will come together on-line to facilitate some fabulous singing, all-round fun and to enhance well-being.
All three sections of the choir will join together for a much anticipated Zoom virtual Sing and Social at the end of the Summer term.
